How It Works

What makes the Solam work-out different?

Adjusts to Your Proportions
Solam will automatically customize to your proportions, which allows you to stay laser
focused on your training through muscle activation. And as your body stays in constant
motion through strength resistance training, you get a better, more intense work-out.
It's a proven fact that shorter, more intense workouts build and tone muscle better than

longer, less intense workouts. Even if you're just a beginner, you can start with as little
as 6 minutes a day!

Moveable Grips
Lets face it, no two people are built exactly the same. That’s why physiologists believe
in using moveable grips for barbell exercises. It’s been proven that better equipment
changes how you feel with the same workout even without making any other changes to
your routine.

Body Alignment
Anatomical variability determines how your body responds to your workout routine.
Moveable grips give you better body alignment to protect your joints and spine while
exercising and preventing injury.

Versatility
Here’s why using dynamic, moveable grips optimizes your training:
Moveable grips allow you to customize the grip width, position, and movement path for
your exercises. The adjustable length provides versatility to optimize the adjustment to
your body. Adjusting how you interact with the workout bar can completely change
how the exercise feels to you. And that maximizes performance!
The strength curve or, how “hard” an exercise feels at any point in the range of motion
can change when you change your grip's position on the Solam Workout Bar. This small
adjustment can be the difference between pain-free workouts or no workouts at all!

One Size Doesn't Fit All
“One size fits all” doesn’t apply to training. Everyone’s body is proportioned differently
and moves differently depending on size, length, shape, and weight, which is why the
Solam Workout Bar provides an intense and effective work out that builds, tones, and
shapes muscle faster than anything else on the market.

Muscle Activation
Adjustable, sliding grips support the mind-muscle connection for hypertrophy, a fancy
word for growing muscle cells. When you can more easily focus on the muscle you’re
working on, you get a better result because your brain helps stimulate a stronger, more
focused contraction. Moveable grips help you find the optimal movement path that
maximally stimulates your contractile tissue (muscles and tendons).

Greater Range of Motion
Muscles should be trained through their full range of motion from shortened to
stretched. Training the muscle to control its full range of motion is the best way to
improve your functional mobility, using all of your muscle fibers, and maximizing
tension on your muscles. Moveable grips allows more range of motion than immovable
grips. It’s great for rehabilitating muscle groups after an injury or accident, but check
with your doctor or therapist first.
In fact, if you’re not training your joints through their full range of motion, you actually
lose the flexibility to access the full range of motion.

Greater Endurance Carryover
Strength training puts you in better shape because it develops strength, speed, body
control, and power. The control that you build during your workout needs to be
transferable to improve everyday performance and movement. You can improve your
endurance carryover by using dynamic, moveable grips because it exposes you to more
angles, exercise variations, and planes of rotation.
The exposure to different joint positions, forces, and angles, improves body control
and builds endurance when using various planes of motion that you use in your daily
life routine.

That’s why strength training is one of the best ways to reduce injury risk. Well-rounded
strength training develops well-rounded muscles. Muscular capacity and skill prepare
you for whatever life throws at you during your daily routine.
